Contests
Enter one of The Maryland Fisherman Annual’s contests today! The submittal deadline is December 1, 2010. Prizes include gift certificates to Bass Pro Shops, the world famous Tochterman’s Tackle Shop in Baltimore and quality Maryland Fisherman’s Annual gear.
The Maryland Fisherman’s Annual has three great contests:
* Maryland Monsters Contest – Your big fish could be worth a $500 gift certificate to Tochterman’s Tackle, Maryland’s (and possibly the world’s) oldest family-run tackle shop. See pages 18-19 of the MFA for rules and go to www.mdfishermansannual.com/contests to submit your (hopefully) winning entry.
* The Fisherman’s Eye – Do you have any truly creative fishing shots? Not your typical “grip and grin” photos, but pictures of fish in action, anglers in compromised positions, bloopers, and anything out of the ordinary. If we choose your photo, you will win a $100 gift certificate to Tochterman’s, where you can get anything you need to fish in Maryland (and beyond). See page 55 of The Maryland Fisherman’s Annual for rules to enter today.
* The Catch and Release Charlie Contest – the premiere fishing challenge for true Maryland sport fishermen. Send us photos of three different species of fish that you have caught and released in Maryland waters and you will be entered in the random drawing for a $300 Bass Pro Shop gift card and get a free Maryland Fisherman’s Annual T-shirt. All contestants get the T-shirt, but only one lucky angler will get the gift card. So take the challenge and see if you can be the Catch and Release Charlie winner for the year.
